Below are some of the newest features added to OrthoChart 9...there are actually too many to list here, so we’ve included the biggest ones.

 

Patient ToolBars:  There are now 2 toolbars as shown here.

 

   Scan Documents: Go completely paperless by scanning in documents with a normal flatbed scanner!

 

Fingerprint Scanning:  Patients can check-in using only their fingerprints and employees can close in and out using their fingerprints!

 

My Internet Link:  Have your own personalized internet link on your computer within OrthoChart.

 

Quick Switch:  Quickly switch back to the last patient you accessed. 

 

DYMO Twin Turbo is now supported.  One printer...two different rolls!

 

Date of Birth and Cell Phone Fields have been added for the responsible parties.

 

VistaDent and Patient Photo: The patient photo can now be updated to either Final record or Progress records by right clicking on the picture from Patient Information.

 

Chart-Treatment Notes:  There is now a spot within the Patient Information screen on the Chart tab that allows you to enter “treatment notes”. 

 

Nickname: Patient’s nickname appears on the schedule and the schedule print out.

 

Tray Covers:  Print tray covers for all patients for one day from the Print Schedule screen.  Tray covers include the patient demographic info and the last 90 days of chart entries.

 

Contract/Edit Contract:  Start a monthly contract charge in the same month you enter the contract.

 

X-Ray/Caries Letter:  Print the letter in either Universal or Palmer notation.
